Dentists Dedicated to Help

The Northern District Dental Society (NDDS) is a component of the Georgia Dental Association and the American Dental Association which together make up the three-tiers of organized dentistry at the local, state and national level.

The NDDS is the largest local dental society in the state of Georgia with over 1,300 dentist members from across twelve counties including Barrow, Clayton, DeKalb, Fayette, Fulton, Gwinnett, Hall, Henry, Morgan, Newton, Rockdale, and Walton counties.

The number one priority of the Northern District Dental Society is to ensure that residents in the region served by its member-dentists receive the best quality dental care possible.

The Greater Atlanta Dental Foundation was created in 2011 to help ensure that all people in our communities – from toddlers to seniors – have access to quality dental care. The foundation’s Board of Directors is composed of dentists who are recognized as leaders in the Atlanta dental community and profession.

We support local organizations that are dedicated to providing treatment to those who cannot otherwise access dental services.   The foundation funds charitable dental clinics that serve low income, disadvantaged and underserved families and individuals: those who have no insurance or cannot afford to pay for the dental care and procedures they need.

And importantly, we direct funds fairly and appropriately to area dental clinics to ensure geographic distribution of services and investment in clinics that strive to meet standards of quality and patient care.

The GADF is governed by a committed Board of Directors, dentists who are leaders in the NDDS and are committed both to the profession and to quality dental care in the Atlanta community.
